As we prepare for the 2007 show season, we’ll pack our travel bags, kiss our kids, wifes or girlfriends goodbye, make a doctor or chiropractor appointment for the soonest available date in April and replace the “Dr Scholes” inserts in our shoes because we are in for a fast ride for the next few months!
Seriously though, we are entering into one of the busiest periods of the year for us, but it’s also one of the most exciting times for us. We love to see our customers face to face again or for the first time. We also are usually showing off some of our newest digs. This year is no let down. We have plenty to show you at each one of the shows listed below. You will just have to come to see us or wait till the “Brewsletter” or blogging’s after the show season to find out what.
I have listed the three shows that we will be doing this year (so far!!) from February to March. Each show will have its own highlights, so attending any one (or two) of them should do ya just fine. We highly recommend attending any trade show that you can because you are sure to find new products, but most certainly you should revive you passion for what you do. So NO excuses! Get to one of these shows!
UP Show in Minneapolis, MN
The UP Show is being held again in the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Dates for this years show are February 18th – 20th (Sunday-Tuesday). You can register on line for tickets @ www.upshowonline.com. Click on the “Register Now” icon and away you go.
Upper Midwest Gourmet will be in Booth #841-845. We will also be hosting a “Gelato Seminar” each day at 10:00 am. Come out for some teaching and samples. We will have several product Vendors within our booth for your questions and samples.
Coffee Fest is back in Chicago this year and will be held at the Navy Pier, located at 600 East Grand Avenue, Chicago IL, 60611. This show is everything coffee. The dates are the 23rd – 25th (Friday-Sunday). You can register on line @ www.coffeefest.com. Click on the Chicago icon and work your way on from there. Cost for this show is $30.00 on-site, or you can save $20.00 per person if you give us a call. We can offer a discount.
Upper Midwest Gourmet will be in Booth #122 highlighting Gelato. We will be sharing our booth with “Technogel USA”, makers of batch freezers, and using “Fabbri” ingredients to make our gelato. We will also be represented in many other booths along with representatives of some of the product lines that we offer.
Wisconsin Restaurant Expo;
The Wisconsin Expo will be held this year on March 12 -14 (Monday-Wednesday) at the Midwest Airlines Center in Milwaukee WI. You can register on line for this show @ www.wirestaurant.org/expo. Click on “Register Now” and watch your excitement grow! Discounts apply for early birds. Even better, we have received a LIMITED supply of free passes which we would love to share with you. We only ask that you limit your request to two passes so that we can share the wealth.
Upper Midwest Gourmet will be in Booth # 846. This booth is across from the Interactive Zone stage and I believe that we will have an opportunity to offer a Gelato demo. We will have several product Vender Reps within our booth for your questions and sample needs.
That’s the 2007 show agenda for now. (I didn’t even mention that we will also be at the Ice Cream show in Columbus OH the same weekend as Coffee Fest). I’m quit sure that more opportunities may arise for us to attend, but for now and the sake of our sanity, WE HOPE NOT!!!!
