Those of you who attended the SCAA were the first in the USA to be able to try Fabbri’s newest flavors for 2008. Blood Orange Sorbet was the hit of the show. Customers were driving to our warehouse from the show to pick up the product and we’ve already sold a quarter of the stock we brought in. I predict this will be the number one selling flavor for Fabbri this summer.
Along with Blood Orange we now have “Nata” delipaste. This is a Latin Cream…a cross between whipped cream and dulce d leche. Simply delicious.
Our newest base is Nevemax. Fabbris ultimate pile high base. Nevemax will hold it’s shape better than most when using the big 8 liter pans and piling product up on on busy summer days.
Mixybar lovers will love the new Pomegranate flavor. Add to you Italian sodas, granita, and martini menus for one of the best Pomegranate mixes available.
We have a new Fabbri Frozen Yogurt for Granita. If you like Pinkberry, you’ll love this. Just add milk and you have a sour yogurt slush that’s as good as it gets…..until you grab some mixybar….say our new Pomegranite Mixybar or any of the other fantastic originals such as Strawberry or Watermelon. 50 flavors of yogurt everyday out of 1 barrel. A fabulous idea that’s long overdue.
Nuetral Sorbetto Simplé base is now available. Just empty the jar and add water, Fabbrisoff and delipaste before batching. That’s it. No more weighing out base, sugar, dextrose etc. You can add fresh fruit too! Easy sorbet making just in time for summer.
The next boat arrives the first week in June. Here’s a sneak peak at what’s on the way: Cranberry Simplé, Simplé Hazelnut, and Simplé Pistachio (all seen at the show this weekend), Blood Orange Mixybar, Yogofull Sour Yogurt Soft Serve, Dark Chocolate Delipaste and a few more surprises. Come on summer you can’t hide forever!!!
Cheers, David
