BARISTA FRIA RECIPE IDEAS

Smoothies

*Make real fruit smoothies at the touch of a button with the ice shaver blender.

6 oz mix – any combination of fruits – touch button 1 and walk away.

*Mix 4 oz fruit puree and 2 oz ice cream base or non-fat yogurt for a dairy based smoothie.

Power Smoothies

Add a shot of protein to any smoothie to create a complete meal replacement.  There are lots of smoothie supplements such as energy, immunity, etc that you can add to build functional smoothies to order.

Iced Blended coffee Drinks

*Iced blended coffee has never been so easy!  No messy powders to clump in the blender.  6 oz of Caffe Latte, Caramel or Mocha in the blender and push button 1 – add a shot of espresso to customize the drink.

*If you want to make your signature iced blended coffee from scratch, add espresso and sauces or flavorings to the measuring cup – fill to the 6 oz line with Vanilla Ice Cream Base and push button 1.

Real Fruit Snow Cones

A fun, very profitable and unique new coffee bar offering made possible with the ice shaver blender and Barista Fria fruit purees.

Keep strawberry, wildberry and mango Barista Fria fruit purees in a squirt bottle and drizzle an ounce or two over shaved ice in a cup – instead of sugar water and food color it is real fruit puree

Energy Snow Cones

*Drizzle cold espresso and Caffe Latte over ice

*Drizzle Red Bull and Strawberry over ice

Adult Snow Cones

Shave ice into a large martini glass – drizzle strawberry puree and Absolut Vanilla over ice – or drizzle mango puree and Absolut Mango – garnish

Italian Ice

*Coffee bars can now compete with Rita’s Italian ice.  This is an upscale name to call a snow cone and also very appropriate for an Italian restaurant.

*Add three melon ball sized scoops of lemon sorbetto and a spiral of lemon peel to garnish – drizzle Limoncello over it for a light signature dessert.

Ice Cream Treats

Lots of coffee bars, restaurants and ice cream shops make their own custom products and want to incorporate them into the menu.  Add a scoop of gelato, custard or ice cream on top of a smoothie for a nice texture combination.  Layer soft serve ice cream or custard with a smoothie.

Granita

Mix 5 liters of Barista Fria to 7 liters of water and freeze in machine – we have high volume and self serve dispensing options available through our equipment program.

Decadent Hot Beverages

Barista Fria beverage bases can be mixed half and half with water and heated – top them with whipped cream and sprinkles –a restaurant that can’t operationally handle an espresso machine can now add Latte’s and other specialty drinks to their menu – helps you meet volume requirements to qualify for the ice shaver.

*Hot Chocolate – mix Chocolate Ice Cream Base with water and heat

*Chai – mix Chai with water and heat

*Hot Cappuccino – mix Caffe Latte with hot water and heat

*Steamers – Mix Vanilla Ice Cream Base with water and any flavoring and heat

Drizzle – keep Barista Fria fruit purees in a squirt bottle

*Drizzle over frozen yogurt, ice cream, pastry, cheesecake, salads, sandwiches

*Use to plate deserts such as a brownie with whipped cream and strawberry drizzle
